Should be a much closer game than most are predicting, as the Trojans could present the toughest individual matchups for us. Also, I believe there will be a letdown after the Wazzu game. SC has been struggling, and although they are the biggest rival, UCLA has to be pretty confident at this point, and perhaps a bit overconfident. USC plays a similar hard nosed style defensively, and should be more comfortable against our aggressive defense. They also may play a lot of zone, which is not a good thing for UCLA. Taj Gibson is a big matchup problem (long, athletic, coordinated) for Kevin Love, and Love could struggle a bit. The size of the Trojan guards could pose a problem for the Bruins, but Collison and The Animal should take advantage with their quickness. The key to this game really is Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. He is the obvious matchup nightmare in favor of the Bruins with his size, quickness. Luc needs to be aggressive offensively and on the boards. Look for the Prince to step up and UCLA pulls off a relatively close, low scoring game. UCLA 66 USC 59
